  • The majority of students who wear this bracelet do not wear it in support of breast cancer - I teach at a private, all-boys school - even they admit they wear it because it says "boobies." The boy can wear his bracelet on the weekend and after school.

  • Yes, Komen supports research .... but it is a relatively small portion of what they make each year that actually goes to research - not a majority or even close to half of their profits go to research.

  • My sister-in-law is doing her med school rotations and she had an interesting encounter during her pediatric rotation - a mother was refusing all vaccines because they cause autism - her unvaccinated child has autism.

  • Really? JRfromDallas? A sensitivity meeting? I hate sitting in meetings and getting lectured about poor performance or behavior when the individuals guilty are left nameless. If you do your job poorly then you need to be called on it. Have a spine and take it and do better.

  • I too am surprised that 60 Minutes took the time to take on this story. There may be some truth to what they say, but notice how they didn't claim he hasn't built any schools, nor helped any girls in that area. Mortenson has in fact helped people there.
